Full description

The Yellow Flag Iris is one of only two native Irises.  It has strong reed-like leaves and large yellow flowers and is suitable for wet sites, whether in sun or partial shade, on pond edges and along river banks.  It spreads quite rapidly.

It gives off a sweet smell which attracts many bees and hoverflies.
