If you don’t want to wait for a wild flower area to develop from seed, why not lay some wildflower turf? Pre-sown with 50% wild flowers and 50% grasses the small rolls measure 0.77 x 1.625 metres = 1.25 square metres each and can be “man-handled”.
Larger rolls are available which require machinery to move.
The cost per square metre is £16.20 for up to 30 sq.m. + delivery. For 31 square metres or more the cost is £15.50/sq.m. + delivery.
So 1 roll of 1.25 square metres will cost £20.25 + delivery (min. delivery charge: £65.00).
Delivery costs depend on distance travelled, e.g. 40 sq.m. to most of southern England would cost approx. £75 or 100 sq.m. to Shropshire approx £250.
The turf incorporates a netting material so if you wish to plant bulbs this is best done before laying the turf. For further details of the species sown in the turf and any other information you require, please contact us.
