Full description
Snakeshead Fritillaries have pretty chequered petals in shades of purple, red or white with fine grass-like leaves. They flower in April/May and prefer damp meadows.
Plant the bulbs at about 7-10cm (3"-4") depth on their sides so that the hollow crown does not retain water.
Orders can be placed now but will not start to be despatched until late February/March, depending on weather conditions. If you plan to be away, please advise which dates and we will avoid posting them during that period.
Our minimum order quantity is 50 bulbs, but it can be a mix of species.
