Full description
Small Scabious is a very attractive flower of short, mainly calcareous, grasslands.
The flowers are a blue/lilac colour (not pink as this image appears) and attract many types of bees and butterflies.
It is an excellent plant for a wild flower herbaceous border or meadow on infertile soil.
