Full description

It has broad basal leaves and a large stalk with a cluster of white flowers on the end which appear from April to June.

Ramson is predominantly a woodland plant.  Once established, the plant can propagate vegetatively to cover a significant portion of the woodland floor, providing a dark green carpet and an explosion of colour and smell in late spring.  The scent goes as the plants die back, so you are not aware of them the rest of the year.  Mixed with Bluebells a woodland planting of Ramson can look spectacular.

Ramsons prefer a fairly neutral soil.

Orders can be placed now but will not start to be despatched until mid-February/March, depending on weather conditions.  If you plan to be away, please advise which dates and we will avoid posting them during that period.

Our minimum order quantity is 50 bulbs, but it can be a mix of species.
