Marsh, or Greater, Birdsfoot Trefoil has yellow pea-like flowers, often with red or orange markings.  It is a perennial plant found in damp grassy meadows, open woodland and alongside streams and ditches. 

It is a butterfly nectar source and a foodplant of the Wood White, Common Blue and Dingy Skipper butterflies.
