Full description

This attractive perennial plant has clusters of white flowers from June to August above small leaves that grow in whorls up each stem.

Hedge Bedstraw is found along hedgerows and verges, in open woodland and on some meadows and grasslands and grows happily on a wide range of soil types.

It is a food plant of several species of moth caterpillars, including the Hummingbird Hawk-Moth.
