Grown as part of a hedge, or as a shrub or tree, the Hawthorn is a great addition to any garden.  It is the chosen food plant of several species of moth, including the Mottled Beauty, and of the Black-Veined White butterfly caterpillars. 

Hawthorn is not fussy with regards to soil.  Allow one of the plants to grow up into a mature tree from within the hedge.

Bare-root plants 40-60 cm.

PLEASE NOTE: Minimum order for Hedgerow Plants is 30 plants.  (This could be 10 each of 3 different species.)  If ordering in addition to a Hedgerow Collection, then any number can be ordered.
