Great Mullein, also known as Aaron's Rod, is a biennial plant which forms a large leaf rosette in the first year and then produces a leafy flower stem in the second year.  The leaves are greyish with soft hairs and the flowers yellow, borne at the top of the stalk.

It is mainly found on rough dry grassland, stony sites, roadsides and hedgerows.

Liked by bees and two species of moths.

We also have some Moth Mullein (Verbascum blattaria) and some Dark Mullein (Verbascum nigrum) available.  If you would like some please contact us.
