Deliveries

Deliveries are charged at £4.95 per order.

We aim to deliver your order within 7 working days for seed and book orders, and 20 working days of acceptance of order for plant material, though often much sooner, unless specifically stated on the product page that there may be a delay.  Bare-root hedgerow plants and trees are despatched during the winter months when the plants are dormant.  Seed can be despatched all year round, although Yellow Rattle seed is sent out only from September to December.   Bulbs are despatched from August to November and "in the green" in February/March. Orchids are usually sent out when dormant or just coming into shoot. If you are unsure of the timing of despatch, please contact us for confirmation.

Please note that payment may be taken from your credit/debit card when the transaction is placed.

Orders are sent by post, Royal Mail, Parcelforce, and by courier for larger orders of plants. The current status of your order can be viewed by logging in to your account and selecting the invoice number.

These prices apply to mainland Britain. Please note that customers from offshore locations (e.g. Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands) will have to pay a surcharge, depending on location, for courier costs. Please contact us before placing your order to ascertain costs.

Complaints & Returns

Please examine your goods carefully on receipt. If there is any problem, please phone us on 01444 413376 to discuss it within 24 hours and confirm in writing within 7 days. Upon return of the goods, we will reimburse you up to a maximum of the price paid plus the postage cost.

We cannot be held responsible for the failure of any plant material once the delivery has been accepted. Plant material can fail for a variety of reasons, such as adverse weather conditions, over or under-watering, unsuitable soil conditions, etc., and we can not be held responsible.

Full details of our Delivery Policy can be found in our Terms and Conditions.
