Wild Salad Seed Mix
Full description
The Wild Salad Seed mix contains a large number of different species which can be used in different ways. Unlike our other seed mixes, they are not all native to the British Isles - Rocket and probably also Fennel are introduced species.
If you are not familiar with the plants, please take care to identify the species before eating them by referring to a reliable reference book or to a web site such as "Plants for a Future" (http://www.pfaf.org/index.php) which has lots of useful information on each species and which parts of the plant can be used for what purpose.
Recipes for some of the species can be found in books such as "A cook on the wild side" by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.
