Bulbs
British wildflower bulbs available "in the green" February & March
We have some bulbs available "in the green" in Spring 2010.
When bulbs are supplied in active growth in the Spring they are referred to as "in the green". They may be in leaf before flowering, as with the Bluebells, or in leaf possibly already having flowered as with Snowdrops. Wood Anemones may have very little to be seen.
It is in the Spring when you can see where your existing bulbs are and where you need to plant a few extra ones. We recommend autumn planting if you are wishing to plant in large numbers.
Although bulbs are usually despatched within 7 days, it can sometimes take longer, so please allow plenty of time. Contact us if urgent.
Orders for over 200 bulbs of some species can be made by contacting us.
Plant as soon as possible after receiving them.
