Hedge plants available January to March

In the winter months, when plants are dormant, it is time to fill in any gaps in your hedge or indeed plant a new hedge.

Hedges are a wonderful habitat for birds, small mammals and insects. And they look great too! If you want one that will keep its leaves through the winter, plant either Beech or Hornbeam as although they are not evergreen they keep most of their leaves throughout the winter and only shed them in Spring when the new ones are about to appear.
